Upload Drawings as Multi-Page PDF

Posted by rokahn on 2009-August-26

In a conventional work flow, drawings are provided by a draftsperson in the form of a multi-page PDF. Today we rolled out the ability to upload a multi-page PDF and each page becomes a figure which can be separately referenced in the specification.

Published Patent Import

Posted by rokahn on 2009-August-25

You can now automatically import published patent applications and grants. This feature can be used to read and analyze patent documents for searches (e.g. novelty and Freedom-To-Operate (FTO)), for examination, and litigation. It’s also a great way for inventors and patent prosecutors to explore TeamPatent’s features before using it to prepare a new application.

After signing in, goto the dashboard and you’ll see a new area which allows you to enter a document number or create a browser bookmark. The bookmark can be used wherever you search patent prior art (e.g. USPTO, FreePatentsOnline, and Google Patents)–when you’re on a page reading a patent, click the bookmark to import the specification and drawings into TeamPatent.
